SOS and all of our programs follow a non-discrimination policy; all young people, regardless of geographic or economic limitations will be allowed to participate. Our teen actors will represent the community they are serving. This programming is free to all teens due to the support of foundations, corporate sponsors and individual donations.

The collaborative, intergenerational nature of having adult staff and board members and teen actors working together creates an important source of support for the participants, embracing the diversity of perspectives and experiences. Teens and youth who participate in SOS are enmeshed in a diverse community that’s committed to supporting them in responsible decision-making and to being a resource when participants are dealing with problems in their own lives.
